Some women start wrinkling premature, primarily due to stress or unhealthy lifestyle practices such as alcohol, smoking and wrong food habits. Today, I am going to share most favourite poses of yoga for get glowing and beautiful skin.

How to perform Uttanasana

bend forward and try to touch the ground while keeping your legs straight.

Stand straight with closed feet and arms raised overhead. Keep your eyes closed. Now, bend forward and try to touch the ground while keeping your legs straight. Try to stay in this position for 1 minute and then come back slowly to the standing posture.

Take a deep breath through your both nostrils, now exhale through both nostrils forcefully.

Sit on the Padmasana pose, close your eyes and keep the spine straight. Take a deep breath through your both nostrils, now exhale through both nostrils forcefully, so your stomach will go deep inside. Repeat this process for 5-10 minutes. During this process focus on exhale through your nose and not on the movement of your stomach.

Lie down with palms on the floor, lift your legs up, raise the legs and torso off the floor.

Sit down comfortably in Vajrasana and bend your head down till your forehead touches the floor.

Try to slowly-slowly straighten your legs towards the direction of head. Your back should be straight.

Go to the Balasana (Child Pose) and snatch your elbows and interlock your fingers. Bring down your crown of the head to the mat on the floor and the back side of your head is touching your interlocked fingers for support your head. Try to slowly-slowly straighten your legs towards the direction of head. Your back should be straight.
Now bend your knees and keep your heels near to the butts. Slowly-slowly raise your legs straight at the angle of 90 degree. Hold the position as much as you can.

6. Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose)

Pull your torso back and off the floor with the support of your hands. Hold this pose for 1 minute. Don't overdo the stretch or over-strain yourself.

Lie on your stomach with your toes flat on the floor and forehead resting on the ground. Place your hands under your shoulders, palms downwards. Taking deep breath in, slowly lift your head, chest and abdomen while keeping your navel on the floor. Ensure that your feet are still close together. Pull your torso back and off the floor with the support of your hands. Hold this pose for 1 minute. Don't overdo the stretch or over-strain yourself.

7. Ustrasana (Camel Pose)
Ustrasana open up your chest and enables the lungs to take in more air, hence more oxygen which is great for the body and skin. It reduces stress and balances the hormones in the body that are responsible for acnes and pimples.

bend back and hold your heels, let your head hang back.
Ustrasana Steps

Bend your knees and standing on your knees, your head, spine, abdomen and thighs must be in a straight line. Now bend back and hold your heels, let your head hang back. Hold this position for 30-60 seconds and then come back to the starting position by releasing the hands.

Other tips to keep your skin glowing:

Drink lots of water : 

Drink 3-4 liters water daily. Water adds natural suppleness and glow to your skin while keeping your skin hydrated and healthy.

Smile : 

This is the best and the easiest make-up you can apply on your face. The more you smile, the more your face would naturally glow.

These yoga poses will ensure that you have glowing skin throughout your life and that your skin never has a dull moment.

Our eyes are continuously fixed on the mobile screen or the computer monitor during the day, followed by eye grabbing shows on television. This constant strain and stress has given rise to eye problems like Dry eyes, Blurry vision, Eyestrain, Headaches, Trouble focusing at a distance, etc. So follow these simple and easy eye-care tips for healthy eyes.

Eye-care tips:



Rest your eyes every 30-40 minutes. Look 15-20 feet away for 20 seconds. 


Get up at least every 2 hours and take a 10-15 minute break.


If your eye strain won’t go away, then talk to your doctor about computer glasses.


Try to avoid glare from windows and lights. Use an anti-glare screen if you needed.


If you use glasses or contacts then make sure your glasses or contacts prescription is up to date and good for looking at a computer screen.


Move the screen so your eyes are level with the top of the monitor.


If your eyes are dry, blink them more.

Eye Exercises/Yoga


You can do some simple eye exercises/yoga for Improves your Eye vision, Reduces strain on the eyes and Lowers the risk of developing eye diseases. Eye exercises/yoga also helps to relieves dry eyes. 


Before going to sleep, massage your eye muscles and eye lids by gently rubbing your finger in a circular direction for at least 2-3 minutes. Massaging your eyes can help to relax your eye muscles. 


Relax your eye muscles by placing your hands together palm to palm and rub them together for creating some energy (heat). Place your palms over your eyes and allow your eyes to relax. Take long slow deep breaths. Palming is an ancient yogic technique that promotes optic nerve relaxation and improves vision. Do not let light in due to this exercise. Do this exercise whenever you have time during the day.


Place your palms in front of your eyes and focus on your palms. Inhale as you open your palms out to your sides and focus on the horizon. Exhale, bring your palms back in front of your eye and focus on your palms. This exercise will help improve your vision both up close and far away.


Foods for healthy eyes


Taking good care of your eyes and maintain your eyesight is also very vital for leading healthy lifestyle. It is a fact that your eyesight is closely dependent on your food preferences. If you include foods that contain a range of vitamins, nutrients and minerals may help reduce your risk for developing eye conditions.


Carrots


Fresh juicy carrots top the list because it is loaded with vitamin A and beta carotene. Vitamin A and beta carotene help the surface of the eye and can also help prevent eye infections.


Fish


Fish, especially salmon, can be a great food to consume for eye health. Fish have omega-3 fatty acids, which contribute to visual development and the health of the retina. Omega-3 fatty acids can also help prevent dry eye syndrome and glaucoma.


Nuts and Dry Fruits


Snacking on nuts like almonds, cashew nuts, apricots etc. helps in reducing risk related to your eyes and vision because they are rich in Vitamin E, which help in preventing cataract and eye muscle degeneration.


Oranges


Oranges and other citrus fruit contain vitamin C, which is key for eye health. Vitamin C may reduce the risk of cataracts and macular.


Fish Oil, Flaxseed Oil


Fish oil, flax-seed oil are the super supplements contain omega-3 fatty acids and have many eye health benefits.


Milk, Yogurt


Milk and yogurt can be good for the eyes. They contain vitamin A as well as the mineral zinc. Vitamin A protects the cornea while zinc helps bring that vitamin to the eyes from the liver. Zinc is found throughout the eye, especially the retina. This important mineral helps with night vision as well as the prevention of cataracts.


Spinach


All green and leafy vegetables are good for your eyes. Spinach contains high volume of lutein and zeaxanthin which prevents cell damage.


Eggs


Eggs are a great food to eat for eye health. According to recent research, adding a couple of eggs to your salad can also increase the carotenoid absorption from the whole meal as much as nine-fold. Keep in mind that once you heat egg the lutein and zeaxanthin become damaged and will not perform as well in protecting your vision. So, cook as little as possible, like poached, half-boiled or raw.


Sweet potatoes


Many people don’t know that sweet potatoes, with their mild sweetness are storehouses of many vitamins essential for eyes like vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium, beta carotene and fiber etc. which prevents eye damage and restores damaged eye cells, back in to good shape.

Eating healthy is good for your whole body, especially your eyes. Including these some foods in your diet, will give you clear results for you and your love one’s eyes.

Placed fresh cucumber slices over the eyes for 10-15 minutes refresh sore, tired eyes.
