The Constitution of India is the supreme law of India. It was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26th November 1949, and came into effect on 26th January 1950. Politics in India take place within the framework of its constitution, as India is federal parliamentary democratic republic, in which the President of India is the head of state and the Prime Minister of India is the head of the central government.

The New Delhi Municipal Council accepting applications for the engagement of Guest Teachers for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT/Lecturer), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Assistant Teacher (Primary), Assistant Teacher (Urdu) and Nursery Teachers in New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC)/Navyug Schools for the current year 2017-18.

NDMC Guest Teacher Recruitment 2017

Submission of application other than online shall not be accepted. Eligible candidates are advised to apply online. Order of merit list will be displayed on the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) website in the 3rd week of March, 2017.

Guest Teachers shall be engaged purely on ad-hoc and daily basis till the posts are filled up on regular basis. Reservations and age relaxations to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and Disabled persons will be given as per Govt. orders. Applicants are strictly instructed not to send any hard copy of the application to this department. Allocation of school to the selected candidate will be merit based.

Educational Qualification: Candidates has to secure various educational qualifications and experiences according to the post and the subject. So, Candidates should read the notifications, announced by the organization in the officially website.



Age Limit: Maximum age limits starts from 27 years to 36 years. Age relaxations to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and Disabled persons will be given as per Govt. orders.

Structure and content of CTET 2017

All questions in CTET test will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking.

There will be two papers of CTET.


i) Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
ii) Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.


Minimum Qualifying Marks in CTET 2017 Exam



To qualify the CTET 2017 exam, the candidates will have to secure the minimum qualifying marks. The minimum qualifying marks has been fixed by the Board.


> Candidates securing 60% or more will be declared CTET qualified.
> Candidates who will clear the exam will be issued CTET qualifying certificate. The Certificate will be valid for appointment till seven years from the date of declaration of its result.
