SALARY:

QUALIFICATION:

  • For TGT - Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed. with 50% marks.
  • For PGT - Post Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed. with 50% marks.
  • For PRT - Graduation with 50% marks + B.Ed. with 50% marks.

Educational Qualification: Candidates has to secure various educational qualifications and experiences according to the post and the subject. So, Candidates should read the notifications, announced by the AWES in the officially website.



Age Limit: As on 01 April 2018 :


  • Fresh Candidates - Below 40 years (except for Delhi schools where TGT/PRT should be <29 years and PGT <36 years).
  • Experienced Candidates - Below 57 years. (Minimum 5 years teaching experience in the last 10 years.)

Last Date: 21/December/2017.


Selection Procedure: 


  • STAGE-1: SCREENING EXAM: The screening exam is conducted on-line by an agency identified by HQ AWES  centrally to ensure uniform basic quality of teachers in all Army Public Schools. The screening exam (ON-LINE in the MCQ format) shall be conducted during 15-17 January 2018. Those who qualify in screening exam, will be given score cards which are valid for life provided the candidate picks up a teaching job in any CBSE affiliated school within three years from the date of passing the screening exam.
  • STAGE-2: INTERVIEW: Interview shall be conducted at various centres in India for a single school or a cluster of schools.
  • STAGE-3: EVALUATION OF TEACHING SKILLS AND COMPUTER PROFICIENCY: Appointments will be made as per CBSE/AWES Rules.



There are 137 Army Public Schools (APS) located in various Cantonments and Millitary Stations across India. These schools are administered and managed by local Army authorities and affiliated to CBSE through Army Welfare Education Society (AWES).

  • Open official Army Public School website - http://aps-csb.in/
  • Click the button 'New Registration'.
  • The page appears where you have to fill all your personal details correctly such as name, phone number, email id, etc.
  • Once you completed click 'Proceed' button.
  • On next page, you will be asked to pay your e-challan using net banking, credit card or debit card.
  • After successful payment of your challan, you will be sent an OTP, which you have to enter to proceed.
  • Now they will ask for your final submission of application form. Click submission button at the end to complete.
  • Finally, you will receive message "Thanks for submission".
